In the Actions tab, you define what happens when the conditions of your rule are met.
Here is an overview of each available action:
Free Shipping
Enable this action if you wish to offer free shipping when the rule applies.
Percentage
Here you can apply a percentage:
On the total order (excluding shipping costs)
On selected products
Amount
Enter a specific amount, such as €10 for example.
Don't forget to select the appropriate currency.
The module will automatically handle the conversion if the customer uses another currency.
Formula
For complex calculations, you can enter a formula.
For example, to set €15 for the first product, and €5 for each additional product
Use the formula: 15 + ((quantity - 1) * 5)
For more details, see the Formula section of this documentation.
None
This option triggers no action when the rule is activated.
If you enable the condition Compatibility with other rules, a rule configured with None can be used to neutralize another rule that should not apply in certain cases.
Weight
This feature allows you to add or reduce the cart weight.
You can for example use this action to include the weight of a pallet or calculate a custom volumetric weight.
Show Only Selected Carriers
Dynamically filter the delivery methods visible to the customer when the rule applies.
This feature is ideal for scenarios where only certain delivery methods are relevant:
Show only the relay point carrier for small packages
Show only the Kuehne+Nagel carrier for bulky packages
Hide Selected Carriers
Contrary to the previous one, this action allows you to exclude systematically certain specific carriers when the rule conditions are met.
You could use it to disable free shipping in certain remote geographical areas, or to manage cases such as disabling click & collect outside your store's opening hours.
Tax Rule
In the dropdown menu, choose the VAT rule to apply.
Then you can choose to add the tax to the amount or deduct it.
