The new version of the Advanced Options and Fees module for Prestashop
is available in exclusivity on motionSeed.
This new version is a major evolution of the solution
since the code has been rewritten and optimized, as well as new features have been added.
Earn extra profit
Charge your customers for additional services (rush delivery, delivery insurance, product insurance) or customized options (premium subscription, delivery subscription, etc.).
The options are displayed in the shopping cart, in order summary and all documents (invoices, credit notes, emails).
The total amount of the order will be automatically recalculated when the customer selects the option.
You can give the options the name you want and also set an « Informations page » (URL) to provide more information to customers.
You can pre-select the option and display it only from the delivery step of the checkout.
Fees and Taxes
The module lets you define additional fees and taxes such as handling fees, management fees, ecotax.
A fee follows the same behavior as an option, with only one difference : a fee is automatically applied to the cart without the ability to delete it.
To transform an option into a fee, you just have to select the « Required » field from the « Informations » tab.
Like options, additional fees and taxes are displayed in the cart and in all documents (invoices, credit notes, emails).
Validity period
The module includes a powerful system for applying options and fees through the « Validity period » condition available from the « Conditions » tab.
It allows you to apply the options:
- one time only: the option or fee will be applied to the customer's first order and not to subsequent orders
- recurring (month or year): you can set up a subscription system on your Prestashop store easily and without breaking the bank.
Unmatched flexibility
Thanks to its flexibility and the numerous combinations offered, the module allows you to define your options and fees according to the requirements of your Prestashop store.
The module integrates the following conditions:
- Order amount
- Countries, States and Zip codes
- Carriers
- Product or package dimensions
- Customers groups
- Dates and Time
- Validity period
Thanks to Compatibility with other options and Parent options conditions, you gain precision in the definition of your options and fees: offer option Y if option X is present.
Exact amount
The option and fee can be a fixed amount or a percentage of the order.
Use the formula for even more precision.
Example: To define a fee of 10$ on the first product and 5$ on each additional product, simply use the following formula:
15 + (quantity - 1) * 5
The module is compatible with all currencies. The currencies displayed by the module will be the ones installed on your Prestashop store.
